Fatal Motorcycle-SUV Collision Claims Two Lives in Saginaw County

BRADY TWP, MI — Tragedy struck Saginaw County when a motorcycle-SUV collision claimed the lives of two residents.

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, around 7:44 p.m., Saginaw County sheriff’s deputies responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of South Oakley (M-52) and Harris roads in Brady Township.

The investigation revealed that Kevin Palacio, 54, and Amanda Klich, 45, were riding a motorcycle south on M-52. Simultaneously, a 21-year-old Saginaw Township woman was driving an SUV north on M-52. In an attempt to pass another vehicle, the SUV entered the southbound lane, leading to a head-on collision with Palacio’s motorcycle.

Tragically, both Kevin Palacio and Amanda Klich were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the SUV escaped the collision without injuries.

Kevin Palacio resided in Saginaw, while Amanda Klich was from Burt.

Undersheriff Mike Gomez stated that the circumstances surrounding the collision are still being examined as investigators work to determine the sequence of events that led to this tragic incident. The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
